MBA, PGCert, BA (Hons) Textiles, SFHEA

I am currently Head of School, Cambridge School of Creative Industries at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU). Reporting in directly to the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Faculty I have responsibility for strategic and day-to-day planning and development of the School.  The Creative Industries School covers four subject areas: Computer Games, Film & Media, Music & Music Technology and Writing & Performance.  I oversee and continuously monitor quality and standards to ensure that we are maintaining and improving our student experience.

Externally, I am a college Governor at Morley College London.  Where in addition to my membership of the Board I am Vice Chair of the Standards & Quality Committee and member of the People Committee and Lead Governor for IAG.

Previously to my Role at ARU I worked Ravensbourne University London where over 13 years I had several roles, the latter being Deputy Dean for Learning & Teaching and Head of The Screen School.  The Screen School had three departments covering film & TV, post-production, computer games & animation, music & sound design and broadcast engineering. Additionally, I led the developed and validation of three Apprenticeship Degree courses.  These innovative approaches led to the development of bespoke products, tailored to the needs of both higher education quality enhancement and academic standards, together with the recognition of the requirements of industry employers and skill sector agencies.

Before Ravensbourne I taught for eleven years at University for the Creative Arts at Farnham (formally the Surrey Institute of Art & Design), during this time I had a number of positions including senior lecturer, course leadership and widening participation roles.
